Default Would liquid items freeze in airplane?

i know I can't take liquids with me on the airplane but can in my luggage.
but I was wondering if they would freeze in the luggage compartment?
(i think i read it somewhere but maybe false)
i want to carry my cologne, shampoo, etc...is it ok?
would it freeze or burst because of pressure?

It should be fine. I always bag that kind of stuff in a big ziploc, just for an added layer of protection.

Bag it. I've had stuff freeze/blow before.

It's presurized and climate controlled down there.. Flight attendants go down during flight, and pets are kept with the rest of the luggage. They can't let those ****ers freeze or have their eyes popping out from a lack of pressure.

I've been on hundreds of flights with liquids in a checked bag and I've NEVER had anything freeze or blow up.

Like a lot of things in life you might get some leakage due to the pressure change

If worried about freezing, don't pack full bottles.

I don't know about freezing but have had lots of bottles blow thier caps off in the cargo hold, even when they were in somthing protective so they did not get squished.

Shampoo mess all over my shaving kit a few times.

I really don't know if full bottles or half empty bottles are better. Water does not compress, so I am guessing it does not expand that much (if at all) if it stays above freezing in different pressures, where as air compresses and expands easily. Maybe thats why my half full shampoo and saline bottles blow the tops off. Dunno.

IF you have to carry a half bottle of something, squeeze out all the air. The fluid is incompressible and wont expand but the air will.
