Default Would you make your Gal pump your gas??

I have noticed this winter women pumping gas while the guy sits in the car . I've seen this at least five time in the last month or so and find it odd to make your wife/girlfriend/etc, get out in the subzero temps and pump gas while sitting in a nice warm car .

I saw this again this AM and thought I would see if it is common practice or if you think it is as stange as I do.

Maybe I'm "ol fashioned" but I wouldn't hear of my gal or any woman with me pump gas if I was physicaly able to get out of the car and I'm not sayin that just cuz I'm currently single .

I believe a woman can do things just as good as a man. Why not!

Besides we need LESS self service and more FULL service but that's another issue...

It's not that I have any doubt about a womans ability to pump gas, but if you were out with a woman (especially on frigid days) and the two of you pull into a gas station, I would feel highly inclined to get out and do the pumping rather than her.

The day I ask my wife to pump the gas is the day I shoot myself (unless I'm not driving, in which case I'm obviously dead or incapacitated - I never let someone else drive if I can help it).

I believe women are perfectly capable of pumping their own gas but I also believe that common courtesy supercedes that and any man that would sit in the warmth of the car while his lady friend pumps gas (no matter what the weather conditions but especially if its bad weather) is a freaking tool.

I always assume that when I'm behind the wheel I pump. When someone else is behind the wheel, they pump....unless its my wife. I always [i]offer[i] to pump when she drives.

I have to admit though, on occasion she offers to pump even when I'm driving and I let her. It makes her feel good to do the favor for me, and it gives me a chance to relax.
