In a yellow S2000, with a hardtop, I'd better be a long way from home.

Right. Turn a simple moving violation into a felony evasion, and endanger some innocent lives while you're at it. Let's all use Rodney King as our role model, damn that guy's a genius huh?
actually, he made pretty good money off all that.

I know 3 people that have tried this in the past. By the time they got home the cop was waiting for them in their driveway...... It only take a second to remember 7 characters....... But hey knock yourselves out!

Yup, he received taxpayer money...my taxpayer money. His stupidity also incited the LA riots, which caused several people to lose their businesses, a few people were murdered, and it cost the city millions in damages. All because he's too stupid to pull over when the red lights flashed.

The good news is that he is still a scumbag. After the riots he's been arrested several times on various charges including hit and run and drunk driving. He also initiated yet another police pursuit where he ended up crashing his car into a house. Total idiot scumbag who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near an automobile.

A very similiar situation has happened to me. My only ticket. I had a 1st gen FWD DSM. EvoIII 16g, FMIC, 20+ lbs of boost. I was on a highway and I did a 2nd gear pull on a long straight at 3 am. There was not one car on the highway. I was going through the gears and I seen a glitter of light pass as if it were almost like a reflector in the middle of the road, I caught it out of the corner of my eye and it was a state boy. I slammed the brakes immidiatly and pulled over before he could even turn on his lights. He came up flying behind me. He clocked me at 34 all the way to 139

He just gave me a 94 in a 65 because I stopped so fast and didnt attempt to run. If he would have caught me if I did run, then I probably woudnt be driving to this day.

Hmm...

If I'm going 130 mph and I'm sure the cop is actually parked, why not?
If I'm going 130 mph and the cop happens to be moving right when I pass him, ....................... Screwed?

I don't know.

I ran from an officer only once. Someone in a Mustang kept tailgating me and egging me on to race. I didn't bother until I realized it was a good looking chick.
We both began speeding up to about 120 mph, and I was ahead by quite a lot before we even hit 80. Then I saw sirens from behind. I took an exit, she kept going.. I don't know what happened to her, but . None of my business if she got caught or not.
Street racing is bad.

I own an AP1 NFR with a carbon fiber hood. I only know of one other S2K in San Antonio that myself, or any of the others here in SA have mentioned seeing that is NFR with a carbon hood, though it happens to be an AP2. Under that cercumstance, I'd pull over.
