Wow, BOSTON has a new CD in stores Tuesday 11/5 !
"Corporate America"... I listened to the samples and I'm suprised it's all new stuff and pretty good

I saw a television commercial for this, if you can believe it. They included a bit of one of the songs in the commercial, and sure enough it sounded like Boston alright. That's one band that will never change, as far as I can tell. ... and that's a good thing I guess. I do like all their albums but I'm a bit sick of some of the songs. I like the stuff on Third Stage best because they don't play it on the radio as much.
Listening to this CD, I gotta say they've mellowed over the years. There is no "Party" on this disc. The title track Corporate America is similar in sound and energy, but the lyrics are not about having a party, but rather a scathing attack on corporate greed.
Classic Boston otherwise, wonderful harmonies, Brad Delp, Fran Cosmo handle most of the vocals, and Kimberly Dahme sings LOW harmony on a few songs and lead on one. Overall it's a pretty solid disc, and IMO more listenable than Walk On.
