It hasn't happened to me yet (knock on wood), but when people get plastic bags stuck on the underside of their car. That stuff stinks and it stays on there permanently...when I get my S2K, if that happened, I'd cry. Just a random thought I got when reading the thread where greg jokingly suggested using plastic to cover the exhaust pipes so water doesn't get in.

Jay, I wasn't joking! I suggested using some cellophane and rubber bands to cover the muffler tips when washing the car so that no water gets into the mufflers. I would hope that no one would try this when the mufflers were hot!!

Anyway, I ran over a mf'ing dry cleaning bag in my first S2000 that stuck to the pipes from the cat back. It smelled for WEEKS! I was actually glad the car was totalled it smelled so bad! I keep forgetting to check, but the next time I'm at Larry's, I'm gonna go back and check the old exhaust to see if it can still be seen on the pipes. So now, I'm REALLY paranoid of garbage, grocery and even potato chip bags on the street...not a plesant experience!!
