Default Your worst fear...

I'm sure we've all had close encounters where you've had both your life and/or your S threatened.

But what do you think your worst fear is......these can range from..

1. Losing traction
2. Falling asleep behind the wheel
3. Getting rear-ended
4. Getting hit from the side
5. Getting brake checked
6. Not being able to make a turn due to a prior accident
7. Not being seen by a truck in the lane next to you, and they decide to turn into your lane.
8. Getting caught in a blizzard or flash flood
9. getting another ticket (like me)
10. Having no brakes.
11. Being victim to Grand Theft Auto
12. Blowing your engine
13. Missing a gear (for you racers)
14. etc. (other) feel free to post experience

I have a friend that has trouble making left turns after an accident he had in his Eclipse....some lady in a Range Rover thought she owned the road......she learned her lesson and put my boy in the hospital for weeks.

I also almost had a trucker ALMOST pancake me while I was on an exit ramp that went from two lanes to one.....thank God for my exhaust ....and my trusty horn.

biggest fear? flipping over or going into rotation.

i'm too tall for that non-sense. regular accidents or damages, I could handle.

three fears for me:

driving alone: spin-out into a ditch. i know i have tcs, but i understeered into a barricade in a previous car and don't ever want to leave the road out of control.

driving in traffic: usually getting rear ended on the interstate at spots when traffic slows to 20mph. i can stop, but joe dirt in his old challenger behind me might have trouble. i always watch the rear view when it happens and use my hazards sometimes.

parking: getting keyed / door checked. that's the biggest one for me.

For me it's the dreaded mechanical over-rev. It's funny when I am driving hard i don't ever think about it. I will do a 5 to 4 down shift no problem. I think that I am concentrating on what i am doing not messing up. I really only think about it at home.

Once again the mind is a terrible thing!
