reason 17's ride better is because u have more tire to absorb the bumps in the road

i want these wheels soooo bad, and i am not certain if im trying to run 17 * 9.5 all around.

And ive also heard 18's ride like crap compared to 17's, is this true? thanks in advanced
No. The 8.5 will not have a concave face.

^I've been running the 17x9 +45 rpf1s all around with 255s on all corners for at least 6 months now with -3.3 out back and -2.6 up front. I drive a ton so those tires have at least 12000 miles on them. That includes a few autocrosses and one track day. The tires are the sumitomo htrzII Not the best thing in the world but for a daily they are great.

I just got new wheels and flipped the tires so the the inside is now on the outside. At this rate I feel like I easily have another 5000 miles in them if not more.

The biggest thing is make sure you get the car aligned. If your toe is way out of spec you'll chew through the tires ridiculously fast. I just kept my toe to the factory settings.

i see.....i am still debating on whether to go witht he 17, or 18 NT03's

i really want the concave face and the 17's dont seem to have it all that much, so i might have to settle with the 18's....then at that point i become undecided on which width....18*9.5 +38 all around or 18*9.5 read and 18*8.5 front. I dont want to have to get paint work done that is def my biggest issue. Im trying to avoid that at all costs.

I have 255 RE01R's front and rear with -4.5 front and rear... 6 months daily driven and tires are just fine... it helps if you get tires you can flip.. (like RE01Rs)
