and also would i have to get my bumper tabs relocated in order to fit the 18x9.5 wheels? Can anyone guesstimate some type of average on the cost of that?

Do it yourself. There are a Few DIY on this forum. I relocated mine by myself and it was very easy.

you don't relocate the tab, you shaved it off and relocate the bolt back, very simple.

it seems like its pretty basic but id rather be safe than sorry when it comes to dealing with my car, have had too many bad experiences not doing things 100% right the first time so im trying to avoid that



can anyone link me to a workin DIY or some pics or both

I did it to my car in under 10 min for both sides. Once you understand how it's done, it'll be super easy. Plus you do it once and never have to worry about it again.

replace the screw with a zip tie and call it a day!
