Would 265/40 Dunlop Star-specs be too much for a 17x10 +45 in the rear? I dunno how wide Star-specs run as opposed to the Toyo R888s on KBB's car.

No not really. It's just like 265's on the 9 +45 because the center of the tire is going to be in the same spot since the offset is the same. Just the leading edge will be pushed out a hair. You shouldn't have much trouble at all, provided you've got roughly the same mods KBB does.

Like Dreaming said; you could probably fit those on. My R888's fit square on the wheels, meaning no stretch, no bulge. svkBBS2k has 255/40 Star Specs on his 10 +45's and I think he said there was a little bit of stretch, but nothing major.

anyone wanna trade rims? my brand new te37sl 17x9+22 for ce28n in 17x9.5+35 or 17x10+45.
