My favourite were the white TE's.

Would 265/40 Dunlop Star-specs be too much for a 17x10 +45 in the rear? I dunno how wide Star-specs run as opposed to the Toyo R888s on KBB's car.
Like Dreaming said; you could probably fit those on. My R888's fit square on the wheels, meaning no stretch, no bulge. svkBBS2k has 255/40 Star Specs on his 10 +45's and I think he said there was a little bit of stretch, but nothing major.

KBB, im actually running sdrives, and they always run a bit wide, as all yokohamas do. with my 255 all around the stretch is minimal, next tires im going with are AD08s and those should square up nicely.

Yeah basically any tire that runs a little wide (Read: Star Spec, Yokos, RS3, etc...) will look very right on that size wheel. It also ends up basically being the perfect compromise between aggressive sizing and functional.
