Hey all.
Any info on what face the 18x9 +50 CE28 has?
Anyone in here running or has run a squared 18x9 +50 set up? If so, did you have to pull your fenders or just roll and enough camber?
I can't pull my fenders because of the autox class I compete in, but I can roll my fenders. So I'm trying to gauge whether or not I'm going to have a problem running this size by not pulling. Also largest width I can run is 9".

Any photos of 18x9 +50 on an s2k?
Lastly, is there a good post or thread somewhere showing the differences between the Black, Matte Black, and Diamond Black? I've seen the Volk option color chart but it's hard to see a difference like that.

I searched, unless I really suck at searching, and didn't find the answers for this specific size.

Thanks in advance!

Should be fine with a roll and a bit of negative camber, I am assuming you aren't super low so it should be fine and I wouldn't put the largest size you can put on a wheel. Just because it is wider, doesn't mean it is better. Use Urge Design as reference regarding what they say how tire sizes affect performance. But I think 245/35 or 255/35 would be perfect.

For the matter of color, you could just use Google.

Diamond black is very pretty, my favorite out of all the black colors. It can change a lot in certain lighting, you will definitely have to pay a premium, since it is a special order color, or try to find a set, which is pretty hard usually.

I am assuming black is just gloss black

For your request of wheel fitment photos, it is pretty hard to find without spending a lot of time digging through this thread:
Offical non-staggered & meaty tires

but for a quick search i found this, 18x9 +60 255/35 (AD08) and it looks like he is running minimal negative camber

Kind of bummed... still no news on a 17" ZE40 at Tokyo Auto Salon, but they are debuting a new Daimond Dark Gunmetal finish.

Yeah, still no face types or sizes yet. I have a thread going on and will update with information once Rays releases it to us. I love the new color!

Thanks for the info. I already know what tire size I would like to run, 255/35/18, no need to go to the urge website, but thanks for the reference. Also thanks for the photos you posted. I know a +60 offset will work but trying to get specific fitment on +50, which is a 0.4" difference.

Diamond Black does look sexxy, I agree.

Thanks for the help

^^ Ummm, that's SSR Type F on that blue CR, guessing the photo is just to show fitment? ^^
There is another black finish that I've seen on SE37K's that looks like the bronze, where it's a machined look on the lip area but the spokes have a rough cast look.
Still all black, like an anodize.

I believe he was simply showing what a 18x9+60 looks like being that it's somewhat close to my intended 18x9+50.

^^correct, I was just showing a close example of the fitment you could be expecting. I figured it didn't really matter what wheel it was as long as it had similar specs. I didn't feel like trying to dig around too long cause I was at work at the time
