How often do you leave the top at home to roll top down?

That's a tough choice steve, especially at the price HT are selling and how hard they are to come by. You could always sell your oem, order the Volos and get a Mugen down the road. Might make you feel. Ether about getting rid of it now

Thats kind of what i was getting at. The fact that he has an OEM would make me want to tell him to keep it. But if he rarely has the top on the car because he likes to go topdown, then might as well slang it, get some wheels, then get yourself a Mugen rep.

But honestly... i think the OEM HT > Volks.

To top off making the decision a little harder I don't even have the soft top any longer. I sold it to a friend that was badly in need of a new one so I'd have to find another top before I even do anything else. Selling that soft top also helped me afford the HT at the time. Since I got the HT I've only taken the HT off the car twice to drive top down. But I also only drive the car once/twice a week.

Part of why I got the top in the first place was for my plans to actually make this car a track car. I've still been up in the air about whether or not I'll actually really do that or if it's worth the money it takes to make a track car the way I want (For me it must have roll bar, harnesses, buckets). I also don't see myself getting out to the track more than 2-3 times a year tops (plenty of autocross in between but still only that many HPDE events) I've had a really hard time making my mind up what I actually want to do with this car :/ The car looks so good with the HT but it also looks great with the top down when you have a nice set of wheels, lip, exhaust. I'd run with the HT off more often but half the time I don't have anyone around to help me take it off so that I can leave it at home. I definitely still enjoy top down driving.

Oh and as you stated above I did ultimately choose HT > Volks.

I had these in my possession before I sold them in favor of the HT. Amuse spec Mercury Silver

I still vote to keep that OEM HT. OEM HT's even make stock wheels look Boss.
