I even went as far as contacting the guy I sold them to so I could find out who he sold them to so I could try to buy them back but he didn't remember. I was prepared to buy that person out. I got them for such a steal too. I've spent enough money on other parts for the car now too that I could have ultimately had both the HT and Volks. Go figure!

I've got another set of nice wheels that are even more rare these days that I've got my eyes on although they are such a one of a kind size and a long discontinued wheel that if I ever messed one up I'd be SOL . My desire to put together a track car has me wanting to stay with a cheaper more easily replaceable wheel should I ever screw one up and I'm certainly not baller enough to have multiple sets of wheels.

Damn, Diamond Black looks awesome. If I could afford $3000+ on wheels...

Hate to add more text to this thread but I figure I'll make up for it once I get the wheels...

Having a front fender dilemma- atm I have oem fenders that were custom done to fit 17x8 +35 with 255 tire(look like less aggressive DF fenders). Since then I have stuffed a 17x9 +38 in there, with some camber of coarse. I knew from the moment I got the car back from the body shop that I would destroy the fenders, going up my steep shoe of the driveway. Well after living with a small crack for over a year it has begun to grow and I'm finding myself in need of fixing this issue, ESP with 17x10+45 Volks on the way..

-should I go with a set of used oem fenders, and attempt to modify them to fit my new set up?
I really like how clean yours came out PHarrel, did you do them yourself? Did you grind the lip off completely?

-should I buy downforce front fenders and run those, hopin they won't crack with 17x10 +45?

Any suggestions? I just have a bad taste from my current fenders and kinda want to steer away from anything that will crack under pressure...

17x10 +45 will fit easier than a 17x9 +38. It's all about the tire and now your tire will be moved 7mm inward. Sure when you add some stretch it will come out a bit but I still think you'll be better off. Is the car slammed?

Just use wheels that actually fit the fenders. Aren't 10" wide wheels in the front a bit much anyway?

Figured this might help some people and show how they fit and dont rub on the track.
