nice but take off the nut at the end and make it lower.

Why would you want the shift knob lower? Wouldn't you want the shift knob closest to the steering wheel as possible? Im thinking of getting an 3" extension like I have on my STi...

Makes shifting faster. The higher the knob is to the base the farther you have to move your hand to get it in gear.
