i'm sure there are plenty of reasons you want your car to look premiered, not knocking anyone's taste, but now kids are wrapping trunks flat black, and it really does look ghetto.

Have a thought, if there is / are similar compounds that make up the chemistry of "paint" and "wrapped vinyl", (ie polymer based) then this wrapping is just a new technique for covering/protecting the bare metal from the elements. Maybe some of the painters/ chemists out there can sort this out, once and for all... the word "vinyl" has negative indications....

I think getting a car painted is more ghetto than vinyl wrap. People always make up ridiculous names for paint colors and that's where all the hype is.
I like some of the cars that had been done, especially the black Porsche, I can't wait till they develop a high gloss or metallic vinyl for use in wrapping. That will change some haters stance....
