You can use the OEM hood for the version 1 intake. However, you'll need to cut the underside of the hood just like the version 2 intake.

This one is going to make its way on my wife's car in the next couple of weeks....I'll take pics of the fitment and the cut.
that will be awesome,my thanks

Red on Red cause she's the f'in Boss!
As if I have a hard time painting Mugen CF parts...have you seen both hardtops and my hood?

I'm trying to convince both you and Tom to paint our hardtops and hoods to have a single color car.

Yes I do. I was going to use it had I used the AP2 bumper cover I picked up. I don't think I'll be doing an AP2 rear.

Not sure what I'm going to do with the extra Mugen exhaust and the Mugen header I have.

acid-dip the S600 first, play with other toys later Still trying to figure out how to retrofit the Mugen quad carbs I have for a 1st gen Civic for the S600

I've decided to piss you off and leave my hood and hardtop unpainted again Will probably get another SS bumper just as a spare given my penchant to hit deer and other small animals on the road and my sucky skills at the track.

BTW, when will you get an SS rear/exhaust for your S?

Heh guys, just installed my mugen exhuast last night. Took it for a spin right after and upon start up it growled like a beast. It settled down after a few moment of idiling. The drive was great and the sound is definitely deeper and throatier vs the stock. I love this exhuast as it isn't too loud and overbearing with drone and doesn't have that "raspy" sound that some full titanium exhuasts do. On a side note, does any of you mugen guys have fitment issues with yours? I tried to adjust and readjust mine after the install to align the mufflers correctly, but nothing is working. Driver's side muffler is lower and sticks out further from the bumper. Thanks.
