110mph 'ish down the backstretch

Keeping the Ford in it's place. I wish they all stayed back there. There were some bad a@$%$ American Iron cars out there!!

After two full weekends and almost 6 hours of track time on the S now, all I can say is YEEEEEEHAAAAAW.

My instructor. I was in group 2. In groups 1 and 2 you have an instructor that rides along. Once you make it up to groups 3 and 4 you can go solo.

In group 2, if you show consistency and that you're safe, they let you go solo near the end of the event. I went solo for my last two sessions on Sunday - the 180lbs weight drop felt nice!

Great pic's Brian. I thought your Civic would be seeing most of the track duty. I guess the S2K is just too much fun to leave behind.

What type of tape are you using for numbers? I need something for autocrossing assuming I ever make it to one.

It is just Blue Painter's tape. You can get it at The Home Depot or Lowe's.

BeaveRun was supposed to be the Civic's on-track debut. Unfortunately it isn't quite done yet. The guy building it is having problems getting the roll cage install scheduled. As you pointed out, I wasn't too terribly dissapointed bringing the S to the track one more time

Its that time again ! The NEOHIO-SCCA folks are having two autocrosses this weekend [May 31/June 1]. Saturday is a fun day, with all proceeds going to charity, and Sunday is the regular monthly event. What a great way to tune up for the Rt26 Drive . I am planning to be there at least on Sunday, and perhaps on Sat [ family willing ]. If you stop by, please look me up !

take care
John

Its almost the weekend already ! In addition to Dad's day on Sunday we have an ASCC autocross on Sunday at the Goodyear tech center in Akron [ see www.autox.net for details ] and the car show at Stan Hywett [with before hand gathering at bkincaid's ]. Both sound good to me, lets hope it doesn't rain all weekend !

have fun, but get out there !

John has plenty of cars you could practice on too. By the time you did all of his, you'd probably be an expert!
