Boy was that scene ugly. Oil was over everything all the way back to the tires.

Good thought to protect a fellow S2Ker. The dealer that did the work obviously should not have been working on an S2000. Hope he joins our club now that he has seen the value and support we can provide each other.

What is the difference in tightening a drain plug on a S2000 and a civic, it is a basic operation. They probably left out the seal or reused the old one.

I concur. The tech who did the job shouldn't be working on any car. Our drain plugs aren't all that special, although the high RPM probably means more occurrences of plugs vibrating loose.
