Werd. I've got a 95 GSR ...(95 GSRs were the fastests ones made =)) with 121,000 miles and it still runs strong! The car burns oil, but I've been monitoring it since it's had 55 K miles on it doing my own oil changes and topping it off when needed and it's an awesome car that I still cannot convince myself to sell or get rid of. I'd miss it too much if I sold it. Off topic but, I'd like to see Honda revisit the body design and produce a RWD version of the Integra two door hatch. It would be more practical and would sell like hot cakes!
Something special about driving the GSR between 6k and 8k, of course the obvious being VTEC, but with an Apex N1 exhaust and AEM cold air intake on it... the intake charge and the exhaust note is pleasing to the ears...woooooooooooooooooot wooooooooooooooooooot it's something I don't get often with my stock S2000 (I've refrained myself from Modifiying the engine )so It's been fun driving the GSR. Another great DOHC VTEC engine!!!
Although now I'm attracting crazy racer teenagers that pull up next to me and peel out. Big differance from driving around in the S2000 verses the GSR haha
Some kid in a camaro was a car behind me in the other lane (we're in a two lane road) and he goes nuts on his engine and revs it up...it's probably my exhaust provoking him but I am totally minding my own business and he has his gf in his passenger so when we start moving I'm accellerating normally in traffic...he gets next to me, lifts off the trottle and his car's pathetic suspension causes a weight shift that just makes you want to laugh at. This causes his car to lunge forward and nose dive and then he hammers the gas and peels out...what a douch bag!
Hrm. Mine has never burned oil. But, mine is stock too, which is probably a big part of that. Not sure that the 95s are any faster (especially in 4 dr trim like mine), but they are OBDI, not OBDII, so they can be modded more without triggering a CEL.
My most amusing street challenge story was a guy in an early 80s 5.0 Mustang with such an aggressive cam that he could barely keep it running at the stop light wanted to drag race me. Yeah, right. 1) I'm not an idiot, so I wouldn't race him on the street, and b) I'm not an idiot, so I wouldn't have raced him in a straight line. Now, if he had challenged me on the autocross, it would have been interesting.
And I agree, a RWD Integra (with about 180 hp in the base version, maybe 220 - 240 hp in the GSR, and of course, 4 dr optional) would be sweet.

My 98 GSR sedan was bone stock and every bit as fast the earlier OBD 1 cars. That argument is as old as the gen3 was before the RSX came out.
Four Door GSR
I think I heard the 95 GSRs were the fastest from team-integra.net I think.
Why did Gran Turismo 2 specifically put a 95 GSR in the game and no other years?
Did they know about this too? haha
Anyways. Going off topic...when the RSX came out to replace the Integra did anyone consider it. I did, but then when I saw how it lost it's aggressive lines and low profile "integra"ness I couldn't do it. Glad I waited, otherwise I'd be in the RSX forums and not s2ki
