I'd take simplicity and price point over some fancy headunit which you will not be looking at it when driving just because it displays title.
Mocky, get that Monster Cable iCar Play. It isn't as perfect but so what. Portability and easy to use goes a long way. Besides, if it breaks, you buys another one. They are like $40.

i got a 30g video ipod for my bday (dec 16) thats close enough to xmas, but my computer sucks so i only ahve a couple songs on it cause i had to hijack my moms computer to add a few cds lol. but i have abou 3000 songs in itunes on my computer, hoepfully i will be able to transfer it onto the ipod in the next couple weeks, and a new computer will be in the future too cause i know my mom isnt keen on me taking up all her space on her puter with songs.
i was also amazed with the video quality on the ipod it was amazing i didnt expect it to be that great.

maybe you guys can help me with this one.
how do you make it so that when you are playing music on the ipod there are no gaps between songs? i have a ton of cds that need to be played without breaks, i know how to do it in itunes but i cant figure out how to do it on my ipod. i just looked on the apple site and there is only info for fading for itunes and not ipod. its super annoying have the breaks between the songs, i need to figure out how to get rid of them.

I got a black 30 gig a couple of days ago. About 1400 songs on it but I pretty much have to redo every single ID3 tag cause they're all different.
that will probably take me a while.
I'll definitely take some free ipod songs though.

It's at the end of the article, but it's not a perfect solution.
