maybe you guys can help me with this one.
how do you make it so that when you are playing music on the ipod there are no gaps between songs? i have a ton of cds that need to be played without breaks, i know how to do it in itunes but i cant figure out how to do it on my ipod. i just looked on the apple site and there is only info for fading for itunes and not ipod. its super annoying have the breaks between the songs, i need to figure out how to get rid of them.

I bought the wife a 60G and decided to get a Nano for me.
I'm thinking of upgrading to the 30 or 60G. I put every single CD we own on that thing (about 4000 songs) and it is not even 1/3 full. My 4G Nano is already full and I wish I had more room.
There are only a handful of TV shows one can purchase from iTunes for the video IPods, but oddly, the enitre first season of Knightrider is already available?! (FYI for you Hoff fans).

I filled up my Nano within 3 days. It has room for maybe another 30 songs or so.
Can't complain because it was a gift. But if I had bought it, Id definitely gone with at least 40gb model with video feature.

Try this:
Removing song gaps on iPod
It's at the end of the article, but it's not a perfect solution.

it just sucks cause i alreday have over 50 cds that are on my computer that need to be one track, now i have to redo all of them

also another question when you plug your ipod in does it say do not disconnect for the entire duration that it is plugged in, i left it plugged in for over 2 hours last night and it doesnt stop saying that. in itunes it says its safe to disconnect but on the ipod itself it says not to.
when i do though everything is on it.
i was wondering si there somthing wrong with mine? it wouldnt be a suprise me and electronics dont get along.
Jenn, does your iPod still say this after you hit the 'eject button' within the iTunes screen?
When my iPod is connected it shows up on the left tab, I think inbetween 'Music Store' and 'Shared Music'. It shows a little iPod graphic, the name of the iPod and a little eject button.
After hitting the 'eject' button the iPod reverts back to the main menu screen.
Three days later....already 9gb used....
