After looking at the Z4 today, I still like the S much better. The interior is very nice, like a baby Z8 and the seats are very comfortable but this car is just buttttt ugly to me and the color choices suck. No red, yellow, or white! All dark colors except for an ugly teal like the Miata. They have the SMG transmission available and I will test drive it just to see what it is like. The dealer does have on M3 in silver on the showroom and that car rocks.

 

Saw an e46 m3 when I was out to lunch yesterday... Love those cars!

The z4, I just don't get. It's like this big mash of curves and sharp edges and lines all pressed together without any overriding feel to the design. Oh well. If I were buying a BMW, I'd be saving my pennies for an m3.

 

Where did you see the Z4 at? Midwestern AG?

 

I still think all that brushed aluminum on the interior is going to cause way too much glare in the direct sunlight, it is after all a convertible.....

 

Flyellow. I was at Kelly BMW. They must have had 20 of them there. They are going to be all over, no exclusivity.

 

I agree with Dave. Ugly car, no 2 ways about it. Did anyone see the Mazda RX-8 on the cover of AutoWeek?

Did you see the white late 80's 911 at Kelly? Targa with red leather interior. It looks like I'll be doing some serious shopping this coming spring. Maybe you could go lick the door handle like the Volkswagen commercial so it will still be there by the time I'm ready.
