Well if all goes well this will be my first meet with everyone ,and it looks like October4-5. I plan on Fall Colors or the Dragon run next year (plan my vacation).
Anyone here in the Central Ohio group run any of these events and if so,what is a must have for these get togethers?

 

I've been on Route 26 twice now and this month I'm headed to the Dragon! Having one of those FRS two-way radios can be helpful, if only to listen in on what others are saying. Other than that, the standard stuff is good: bottled water, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera, etc. And don't forget to check your car over before the run: oil and other fluid levels, tire condition and pressures, etc.

 

I try to get to most of the events.

 

Head to the Dragon..... it is a blast!!! There are tons of nice drives in the area, and since it is multi day, you get to mingle with a lot of other owners!

 

I am really sorry. Something unexpected happened, I CAN"T GO TO tomorrow's drive. anyone who sees my post and going for the drive, please tell the leader of the drive that I can't go.

 

Looks like the event is cancelled due to weather. However, it looks like the rain should be all gone by noon or so (subject to change without notice, of course). Since the room is booked and all, I've decided to drive down to Marietta tomorrow evening with my wife & have dinner at the Brewhouse, then take Rt 26 back on Sunday, which is currently forecasted to be mostly sunny (but cold). Anyone from the Central area want to join us?

Well, if anyone wants to join us, here's our tentative schedule:

Today: Depart Cleveland 4pm, arrive Marietta Hampton Inn ~ 7pm. Wash up, head to Marietta Brewing by 8pm latest.

Sunday: Depart Marietta 9AM+. Stop in Woodsfield for break, head up Rt. 800 past the freeway to the State Park where we'll have lunch. Then decide on either the scenic route up 800 or just hit the freeway & go home.

If anyone thinks they may be able to make it, PM me before 4pm and I'll send you my cell number. Otherwise, just leave a message at the Hampton for me (Jonas).
