Probably 40K with air and stereo. I think you can supercharge a regular S and have more fun and be able to take it more places.

just like the old 90k 2--hp NSX wasnt over priced.....

once again the limited factor is the golden ticket..... and not the mention that thing can actually murder the crap out of road courses right off the delivery truck!

$38k is the price to pay off all the additional tooling, R&D, and factory side work that needs to be done for such a limited run.

The soft top loss is washed by the hard top, and then some. Add in a bunch of new stampings, weld fixture changes, assembly line changes, more expensive tires, new steering rack, etc, and you easily get to 38.
