I think I'm sticking with Cambria Suites, better & cheaper.

The hotel is by Polaris Parkway (north end of Columbus).. it's not close to the track (30~40 minutes?).. but it's also not in the middle of nowhere like the track is.

I'm organizing a dinner on Friday night there and for those late night people, there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the visinity. Also, for those that want to caravan out on Sunday morning, we usually meet at either the Hilton or Cambria Suites (across the street). I used to stay at Cambria but I've become a Hilton points so I'm leaning towards staying there this time.
If you haven't already done so, check out the Hilton Garden Inn which is just across Polaris Parkway from the big Hilton -- nice place and less expensive. We got a good group rate there for a wedding a couple of years ago. SC

I did actually..it was $1 more ($134 vs $135) per nigtht there..which was odd to me.

Cambria is $130 a night and the rooms are much bigger than the ones at the Hilton... let me email Cambria and see if they can put a group rate together... The group rate at the Hilton came back $10 more.. (which is ridiculous).

Some info heading to Mid-Ohio. The bridge over 314 is closed, so exit 151 is not a good option when coming from Columbus. More details at Mid Ohio's website. http://www.midohio.com/Assets/Docume...ion-fact-sheet

Thanks John, this is good info. Of course when you live in BFE and drive thru Green Camp Ohio to get to the track, all you have to worry about is the stray cow or chicken...
