Some pics from MidOhio today
After the January weather on Saturday, Sunday was much kinder to the pilots at Mid-Ohio. Rogue3308, Popeye and myself rode my Audi to the track this morning to watch the action. There was at least 6 inches of snow on the ground. The track was cleared, but the piles of snow were melting in the 50 degree temps and bright sunshine, turning the paddock into a river and few spots on the track into "slippyness." Regardless of the conditions, there is something to be said of a guy who can run down a ZO6 and an ITR in the same session.
Gary "MrClean" was kind enough to let me ride shotgun for a session. The track was in a state that I have never seen in 5 years. Watching Gary negotiate MidOhio from the passneger seat of his S2000 was like watching a Maestro conduct the world's most sophisticated orchestra. And the music was awesome. Thanks for the ride Gary.
Here are a few pics. Thanks to Sean for snapping these. It was so bright that it was hard to see the the LCD on my camera.
Spring is here. Believe it or not.

Sorry to have missed the second group of locals. Talked with the other guys (Gary, Dave, etc...) for a while in the morning before the lunch break. I posted a link to a gallery with some of the paddock in the morning in the other MidO thread.
