In case Dave really feels betrayed I did wash it tonight, although the tar and bugs are still there, and the wheels and brake calipers are never going to be as clean as the day he turned it over to me.
As for the 'hot cat', she fared better on the way back. No odorous deposits, and I wasn't unzipping that bag no matter how much noise she made!
Oh and if you want to see some of the finalists for the vanity plates, see my last post in the suggestions for the plates on Dave's car. I would have chosen
'POLE DNC' if I didn't think my fiance' woudl refuse to ride in it!
