Default Xpel Ultimate Users?

I'm looking to see if anyone uses Xpel Ultimate. I've had my 3M Clear bra on the S2000 since I got the car and it works great but I'm tentatively looking to pick up another car, and that car is black. I could go the 3M route but I'm thinking about trying out the Xpel this time.

^ Where I read about this stuff... sounds pretty good.

I have a combination of 3M and venturesheild on the 3. My hood piece to a monster hit that no film would have survived. My 3M is pretty damn clear. But, on the bumper I have a combo of hits that have some deep abrasions (crap at 150 will do that) and some spots are hit hard enough to actually put small impressions in the bumper ,with no mark in the film, (don't know wtf BMW makes the bumper cover out of but it is hard and not to flexible so it dings. I can't fricking win. I have 1500 bucks in clear bra and I would assume the expel is more.

I have Xpel Ultimate on my CTS-V wagon. I had Xpel on my previous two daily drivers but the Ultimate provides better chip protection. Its claim to fame, in addition, is that it has a better clear coat. All I can tell you is that it is Zaino compatible as that's what I use for the most part on my car.

I had it installed by a local mobile installer, http://www.blockachip.com . He's done three of my cars over the last several years, and I plan to finally have him do my S2000 eventually....just have to touch up some rock chips first.

You haven't learned your lesson with black cars?

It looks like pretty good stuff. Over 10mils thick, passed ASTMD3170 for stone chips, passed post Xenon testing and outdoor exposure in FL (would have like to see what would happen in AZ)

What I don't see is how it held up under UVA & UBB tests.

Lol. Good point. Maybe I should steer clear of a black daily driver
