Guess what!
I'll be in Tulsa this weekend
Again, no S this time, but the WRX will be there in all her BOV, CF, exhaust fury :hehe:
Saturday it's supposed to be mid-70's and partly cloudy....sounds like a good day for a Hulbert run, eh? I'll have my roommate Kyle with me this time. Only problem is, due to work, we won't be available until after 6pm. I know that it'll be a little dark, but I figure a relaxed jog through 81 wouldn't be too bad. Mainly I want to show Kyle the road and maybe have a little fun myself.
BlackNightmare, you're welcome to ride along then or sometime else to experience the new BOV and exhaust....anyone else who wants a ride is also welcome! I will say that I can't keep it floored all thr way through third because of a boost creep issue (in Lamen's terms, the internal wastegate can't escape enough exhaust with a full 3" turbo-back to effectively limit the boost. It should be maxing out at 14.5psi, but it's probably hitting ~18psi. There is a slight possibility that because of the warmer weather it may not make that much boost and it'll be fine. A small possibility
Anyway, we should arrive early saturday morning (like 2am or something). Julie, I called your cell already and left a message. I just started a new job selling the best air cleaners on the market. May sound corny, but after you learn some of the fact and see a demonstration you'll want one right away. Anyway, I finish training tomorrow and this weekend I need to practice by giving people demonstrations. Each demonstration takes around 2-2.5 hours. Wondering if any of you guys could help me out? There are a couple stipulations, like you must be between 21 and 75 years of age. You must either be a homeowner or have rented the same home or whatnot for the past three years, you must have a phone (landline, cell, whatever), and you must have an income (decent income, no part-time McDonalds, etc). If yu're married, your spouse must be there also. These air cleaners are Class II Medical devices, in the same field as wheelchairs, sphygmomamameters (blood pressure thingies) and X-Ray machine. The company, Health-Mor, Inc. has been in business since 1928 and still uses the same basic design for their Majestic unit. It's that good....anyway, by letting me demonstrate to you, you have no obligation to buy anything (although you could)...basically just let me practice for a couple hours. I already have three appointments scheduled, one saturday at 11am, one saturday at 6:45pm, and one sunday at 3:30pm. So basically, saturday after noon and night (after 9pm), sunday before 1pm and after 6pm. You'd be doing me a huge favor......
See y'all saturday!

Actually, I was thinking about hitting up another road which is between Salina and Spavinaw Saturday afternoon (way better than Hulbert, about the same distance). However, I have to be back in town by 4:00. Any way you can reschedule your 11am and come out with us earlier?
<-- That is filthy right now... getting a bath on Sunday.

Nah, no way I can reschedule. These people are doing me a favor, so I'd rather not change up on them. This weekend is Minichurch and some sort of retreat so time is limited as-is...
