Mine was good, once I was able to get home to NJ. The day I left, Dec 22nd, was the day Mother Nature decided to make it snow in Oklahoma. I had to drive from Altus to OK City for a flight. I started off at 6am and got about 25 minutes or so past Lawton on I-44 when the highway turned to ice. I wound up spinning out at 45-50mph, slid sideways for about 1/4 mile before tagging the concrete divider, spun around some more and came to a stop in the middle of the road. Luckily there was noone around for me to hit or to hit me and I was able to pull it off to the side of the road to took a look at the damage. I was also lucky I didn't slide off the right side of the road because there was a 10 foot drop into a ditch on that side which probably would have sent me airborne or caused me to flip (which wouldn't have been good). The car was drivable, so I got back in and did about 25mph all the way to Will Rogers Airport. I counted 5 more cars within a few miles of where I bit it that either slide off into the ditch or hit the wall, so it wasn't just me. The roads gradually got better along the way. I got to the airport and that's where the car sat until today. I was able to snap off a few pics when I got to the airport that day.
I'm bring it back up to OK City sometime this week to get it fixed by Eskridge Honda Collision. Still no word on how much damage, but from what I can tell, the bumper is obviously trashed, both headlights are bend upwards abit, the hood is buckled on the passenger side, the black plastic grill and radiator cover is cracked and the driver's side fender panel has a little chip of paint taken out of it where it meets the bumber near the headlight. I would estimate I've got about $3500 worth of damage.
Still no word on whether my insurance company is going to pay for the whole thing or not. I've got a $500 deductable. I may try to get the body shop to slip a new front lip on there for me.
