i heard the v6 does fit... anyone with concrete info who has tried it?

I know Photoshop inside and out, those photos are not faked. The multiple lighting sources are the flash on the camera and the lighting in the shop.

Now will it ever get finished? Probably not. It's one thing to have a gutted S2000 engine bay and a V8 sitting around, it's a whole nother level to get it in there and working properly.

Good to hear a counter opinion, I do hope they're not faked.

For the record, my GF and I are both full-time graphic designers, have been for a decade, and spend most of our lives in CS3 (and all previous gens). We know PS quite well also, easily "inside and out". She is also a successful freelance product photographer, and knows much about lighting. Are you a graphic designer as well? It can be grueling work!

Anyway, my point being - I wasn't just trying to start excitement, and I'll readily admit to being wrong when hboy shows up again with solid updates. Until then, I see MANY signs of of the engine being placed in those pictures with the S, regardless of the lighting (which is still suspect, IMHO).

EDIT - to clarify - I wasn't saying simply that there ARE two light sources, there's actually more like 4 from what I can tell. I was pointing out that the sources themselves are DIFFERENT on the engine, if that makes sense. I'll explain more if you care.

I mean... if you can fit an ls1 into a miata (which is smaller than an S2k)... it should fit easily into an S....
