Default In Tulsa, looking for a racing school

Hi guys, I'm 16 years old, approaching 17. On my 17th birthday I get an S2000. And some people on here told me I should learn how to race before I modify my car. Does anyone know a good tulsa or oklahoma based racing school?

Not really learn how to race, but how the s2000 reacts in certain situations. I think either Hallet or going to an auto-cross event will definately boost your knowledge in the s2000. I'm not trying to make you sound like a n00b or anything this is just like a take what u want to hear and let the rest go out the other ear. Congratulations on your upcoming birthday and your purchase of a beautiful and fun filled car. I advise u to keep in touch with the oklahoma crew because they are some awesome people. What color you plan on getting?

I plan on rio yellow or laguna blue. While driving around on memorial in my brothers blue GT I saw a yellow S2k with a front lip. Does the Tulsa S2k club ever go to memorial?

NO we usually don't hang out down there. To many drivers don't know how to drive. We usually meet at impact collision by redline motorsport. But that is about it. We usually meet when we have time. We have about 10+ in our club. And if you drive with us you will learn a thing or two about your car. If you go on one of our group drive you will have a blast.

autocross is a must for you. also drive a really crappy car on an autocross too. i think driving a not so good to its limits and working up helps because an s2k its not a nice training aide on how to drive smooth. But the Stephans family does run a racing school at Hallett. I dont know your vehicular background but thats just my take on things
