I think we should all get together and do a autocross day before summer ends. It has been two years since i've last gone in my turbo neon. Definitely good times.

let's go autocross now. can we do it this weekend? i'm available. are the cones can damage our car? hope not. I believe we can all have fun on this one as part of defensive driving skills.... that way you'll know how to react when you about to find your car's limit before it's too late and the best thing no cops to get as pull over.

also man, for that price maybe we can still get a group discount ..... let's set up a date. but we need a very good instructor though.

so who's up:

IRA CR first=probably
Todd
Jason
Evan and Monica
Brian =probably
Anthony
Heip
DJ Mike=probably
Hue=probably

The cones can rash the bumper a little bit. Most of the time they come out, if you hit them hard going faster... not so good. Your not supposed to hit em any ways

I'm not really sure. I was reading the ORPCA page and they only let 15 non-Porsche owners in now-a-days. Maybe an SCCA official AutoX but they have a lot more strict rules and its more expensive as I remember (for non-members). Ive been out of it for a good 6 years now.

I don't think they have instructors for autocross unless you have a really experience autocrosser to go for a ride along. One thing that is very helpful is to walk to course in the mornings a few times and on the first two runs take it easy and then from there you should be able to go through the course much faster.

ya, if you have any kind of time on a go-cart track, you are not going to have a problem on a small autoX course

I sent a message to the ORPCA contact to see if we could get 5-10 spots reserved for one of theirs. I wouldn't bet on getting in. Maybe for their Sept meet? Who knows, hope he replies.

no way we would able to get a bunch of cars in like that fast. This would have to be planned months ahead. The OR-PCA club starts taking sign ups for summer in February.
