The research continues: I'm thinking polished wheels will be a bear to keep in good shape. Chrome will run me about $1200 for the set (example below). Anyone have any experience with a silver colored powdercoat? Assuming I can get a good color, that sounds cheaper and lower maintenance. True?
a good powder coater should be able to do aluminum wheels, i have had several sets done by portland powder coating. $1200 is a lot of money! you could get some enkie rpf1 with the sbc finish almost for that price brand new.
Powder coat is the shizzz...... Its super cheap and really durable. find a decent shop and they wont have any problem
My S wheels are at a powdercoaters right now......Only problem is that alot of shops are backed up alot
