It's not stereotyping. I had a Ford...it was a piece of junk. No stereotyping here.

+1 for Amy's use of stereotypes.
All stereotypes have a thread of truth.

You're making an assumption of other fords based upon prior experience with ONE ford and just because they're called "Fords"

100% stereotyping right there.

what has this forum done to poor Amy?

Not "one" experience with "one" Ford. My first experience was when I was 19, I had a 1976 Ford Grand Torino...piece of junk. Then my ex-husband had a 1994 Ford Bronco, 2 door Eddie Bauer...definite piece of junk. I thought I was all through with Fords, then a friend of mine who is a general manager of a local Ford dealership knew that I was in the market for a new SUV, and talked me into buying the very first Ford Freestyle sold in the State of Oregon, first model year in 2005 and I got a GREAT price...I'm now driving a 2006 Honda Pilot...get the point? PIECE OF JUNK.

Plenty of experience to know that I'm not stereotyping.

Yeah, it is a five minute diversion every two years... no big deal.

In Texas it was a full safety and smog inspection every year that took much longer and cost four times as much.
