FS "RULZ!" Voting and info
Guys, make sure you PM me your vote so I can easily tally and dont overlook any posts. If you want to discuss why, etc in this thread, that's fine, but your vote has to be PMd to me to count
Some of us don't go on drives and very many meets. In my situation my car is a race car so i cant. And the rest of the time I work 7 days a week. You would be incorrect to assume I am not apart of the S2000 community. Or what about the guys that spend half the year modifying their rides and cant make it to more than one drive. I think anyone that signs up for S2kI is a part of this community. If an S2000 owner didn't care he wouldn't sign up, and there are lots of people that dont. One customer is just as important as another customer to me no matter if i see them once a year or ten times a year. I think the playing field should be a little less biased.

This is presicely why we're including options to alter the badging methods, John. We arent saying they arent a part of the community, this voting is strictly on ways to handle the For Sale portion of the forum.
Being a paid sponsor of S2ki sort of changes your limitations (you dont really have any) in that respect.
In your case, you have hosted several somewhat "official" events at Forged. Your old John Grant identity was badged for that reason, but your new screenname hasnt been yet because I missed it.

Aaron, I know that you've always thought that I was "out of my mind", so why should this occasion be different.
I vote for #3 - get rid of the FS thread
Here's my reason: The S2ki mothership does not condone it, but out of the kindness of our CO's heart, they let us have it with limited rules. Which is VERY generous. Given that, it has been a source of complaints in one way or another over the past few years. I think that the "mothership" was trying to protect the forums from this when they said that they didn't want us all to have our own "FS" thread. Maybe they are right in this case.
I am on this forum for fun, I have made some GREAT friends, and there's nothing better than having fun with all of you. This thread seems to divide us more than anything else on the forum, so I say just get rid of it. The ones that look to complain about getting rid of it can complain to the S2ki mothership for not condoning it in the first place, or become paid members to list their products.

Pay the small yearly fee to be able to post in the Main FS thread and be done with it.
My vote is in your box.
Just some food for though. Everyone should be very careful to vouch for someone. If you vouch for them and they screw someone, the person who was screwed is going to come looking to YOU to make it right. Remember when you vouch for someone, you are cosigning for them. They and you are now on the hook for deals stuck.
