Fuel Gauge Light

Default Fuel Gauge Light

for some reason , my fuel gauge is dimmer than the rest of the lights on my speedometer ..it will dim and brighten still but is always dimmer than the rest.. it fixed it self once and got bright awhile back ...but now its back to being dim .. ive gotten use to it for the past few months but its starting to annoy me again .. anyone have this problem .. i want to get some input and see if i can fix it myself before i goto the stupid dealership and give away my money

yeh i did a few months back..no ones really said anything ..i just brought that thread back to life today haha

If you don't hear from anyone on here about an easy way to fix it I would try to deal with it unless it is a safety issue(can't see the speedo at all during day).

I am sure that it would not be a cheap fix if you take it to the dealer.

Or look for a used Gauge for sale if you can find one for cheap. Try to replace yours and see if that fixes it

i actually pulled the gauge apart yesterday ..i think i got a couple dead bulbs ..so i just looked up the bulbs and part numbers and got them ordered.. so ill see how it goes from there ..
