can't you just take the knock sensor out of the equation by turning down the sensitivity. I had an issue on a SC 06 SI where it was doing something similar (no CEL) and it was hyper sensitive on the thresh hold.

I'm sure you guys will get it figured out ...

messing with the thresh hold did help but brian just didnt want to hide all engine noise from the knock sensor by changing it too much. If it were a race car running great fuel then it wouldn't be such a concern but for a road going pump gas car,lol and pump gas rocks!!! we just didnt want to make the knock sensor to numb.

Somehow I lost the calibration map while I was transferring the calibration onto my labtop. What does it take to get a copy of a map from your tuner? My car's been a sitting duck since Friday ; T

Should be able to just have Brian email the map to you, and then load it from your laptop back on to your ECU.

Yep... All you need is your most current Cal file to be emailed to you and then flashed back into the EMS. Make sure to "SAVE" your Cal file. So, if you ever have an issue you have a back up copy unmolested.
