I just placed my order for Koni Yellows. I thought I could just deal with the noise but its super annoying.. the come Friday, hopefully sooner so I can get them installed before spring brake is over.

Nice, I go full dampen front and half a turn down rear. If you choose to go with the lower perch you will get bump steer. I still haven't sprung for steering rack spacers.

So i just noticed that the koni's dont come with the portion that the spring sits on.. is that right? do i need to take it off the stock strut? or did i miss something?

Yeah get a hammer and bang the old ones off the oem shock.

does it come off pretty easily? Would I be able to do it in a few hours?

Just hit em with a hammer and they will pop right off. I got mine done in 2 hrs with hand tools working alone. If you need help send me a pm.
