Hey Oregon S2K owners. New member, reading some stickies and learning about the car. Trying to educate myself blah blah. Anyway, looking for something in the mid 20's or lower. Willing to take on a small project so long as I don't end up doing a lot of paint or bodywork.

Anyway, came across this car at Kuni BMW in Beaverton. Appears to have been an enthusiasts ride. Just curious if anybody knows this history of this car and is willing to share info. I don't mind buying a previously modded car but would prefer something with good bones if you know what I mean. Looks well taken care of but you never know. Have a wonderful weekend.

 

I dont know that car, but I do know I saw an 01 with 58k miles on it, comes with hardtop, looks completly stock. Price is great considering the hardtop and mileage.

Chris, the link you posted is to Dan's car, he also has it posted in the Oregon for sale forum at the top. That car is pristine and comes with OEM vin matched hardtop. It's a great vehicle.

I don't know the one at Kuni.

The car at Kuni Pre owned auto center has been wrecked, both quarter panels have a shitload of bondo. I think it got spun. Rear trunk lid does not align, airbag light is on. The front drivers side fender has been replaced. They also tell you that the car has never been in an accident and they went over it with a paint meter, they are scammers stay away.

brake fluid , clutch fluid is super black.

They are asking $18,500 and won't budge. They took the car in on trade for around $9500-$11,000 at the most.
