We will miss you Marc!

We just got home from the pre-drive. The road is mostly free of gravel. There are some rough and bumpy spots, that those of us with lowered/stiff supensions might have to visit the chiropractor afterwards!

The Rogue Public House is expecting us, so that is good. We should be home around the neighborhood of 3pm.

I am looking forward to getting out there and exercising Blu!

Yep, I have been keeping an eye on Weather Channel and NOAA sites and they say upper 50's Partly Sunny.

I will be posting a few more details in the next day or so as I work a little planning magic and get things prepared for Saturday!

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Looks like I might have to pass unless forged can fix my exhaust. It hangs wayyyyy too low for bumpy roads at the moment.

Huy drove it in his Mini, he would be a better judge of the roughness. I drove my Outback and was bouncing a little. I think most cars will be okay. I do understand your concerns and I want everyone to be safe.

I drove the route with Doug in my Mini Cooper S and it was pretty bumpy, but I never bottomed out. Until we get onto our first rest stop. There are a few spots that are bumpy with some potholes. After the rest stop, the roads aren't great in quite a few stops. It does get better towards Astoria.

There will be a few spots that will require you really slow down to avoid bottoming out, damaging exhaust, low rear diffusers, or low front lips/splitters. If you have a low hanging exhaust then you will going slow around these spots. It's definitely a fun road.

Remember that nobody needs to feel that they need to keep up with the group. You drive at your own pace that is comfortable/safe for you and your car. I'm usually hanging in the back anyways. Those NA guys are too fast. Or at least crazy

Hope to see people there. It's going to be fun.
