Huy:

If you are in the mood to spend money ...... ... consider getting a CF trunk with your CF hood. The trunk may save some weight and for some reason cars with this combo (hood and trunk) look more wider and meaner. I am so jealous ... that you are waiting for the Supercharger.

I just dropped by some body shops and got quoted $1700-$1900 for the hood, blending in the fenders and repainting the front bumper and lip. All this because I'm AR about rock chips. I dunno if my wife would be very happy to know that I'm spending this amount of money on top of what I already spent and will spend. You guys might see my car for sale and me on the news.

I'll wait and see after our detail day and see how bad I really need to paint it if its bad enough I'll get the CF hood.

Abhi I'm very excited to get my hands on the long awaited supercharger. I'll take you for a ride when I get it.

Very true Abhi. There are a few times where I feel I should get something different but after a good drive down some twisty roads, that feeling goes away.

I'll see about the painting and new hood.

Marc did you get it? I noticed that the link is no longer working and I can't seem to find the posting. Well hope you got it.
Yes! Huy, I bought the damn thing and there's one more left and he's reserving for somebody.....man! they sell those things quick. I'm probably not going to get it painted if it cost a lot and also it depends though on how bad is the imperfection of the weave. The guy at Evasive said that you'll hardly will notice the imperfection and the fitment are great. Anyway, it should be here by next week and should be ready for the Stonehenge drive. I'm just hoping that I won't have any fitment issues and problems.

Marc

I would like one for the vented aspect, but as already stated above, I haven't seen ANY that fit properly (IMO).

Gosh, I hope you haven't ordered it yet, Marc.

I read an article that said that the CF hood is not compatible with the NVidia exhaust. It seems that when the exhaust hits 300 decibels, the carbon fibers start to break down - even if the hood is on the car behind you!
