That's so sexual. Makes me want to go do mine asap lol. Does anyone know of any good shops around portland/gresham area? Gloss black it is...I think. It looks great tho. I'm thinking about getting my intake/exhaust this spring also. I'm getting myself excited.

That's my favorite shot as well. I was thinking about mugen, but I don't feel like spending 3k. I don't know yet I'm still thinking whenever I come to a decision I will let you guys know. Does anyone here have the aem v2? But we live in oregon and the whole water stuff scares me.

I have the Injen CAI (pretty much exactly the same design as a V2) and I have never had any problems with hyrdo locking at all. I just avoid huge puddles but I would anyways regardless of what kind of intake I had.

I LOVEEE the Mugen on AP2s!! MUGEN FTW!!

I have the AEM V2 intake and I love it. It has a great sound but for looks I think the Comptech is one of the best without spending a buttload of money. Don't worry about the whole hydrolock issue too much. I have been running CAI systems for about 8 years now and I have never had any problems. Like David said just avoid huge puddles and you will be ok. You literally have to drown the filter under water for it to be an issue.

With the heat of the engine small splashes of water evaporate before the get into the engine. It is actually a good thing to spray some water in there for cooling.

Go gloss black and then come to a meet so I can drool over your car. I will clean up after myself I promise.

I plan on washing my car again this weekend if it warms up. I was going to this weekend before I took those shots but we never got into the double digits.

Thanks for the comments guys,

Brandon

I love this shot the most! Tire shine and your shadow edited out would make it perfect!
Hopefully this weekend the weather is a little warmer so I can actually take the car out and get some more artistic shots that aren't just in front of my house

There is a local dairy here in Redmond(Eberhard's) that has a distribution warehouse right near my work. They have one of the old 50's(i think) milk trucks that is always parked there in front of the old dairy. I think it will give a great backdrop for some pics. I love pics of the S in front of "old style" buildings and settings. I think it gives a great contrast to the smooth modern lines of the S I just wish I had a Rebel XT to take some decent quality pics with
