The CEL was due to the IACV and it went away after I cleaned it.

car sounds like a subaru and is running rough
and i have 4 huge holes in my soft top

problem after problem with this thing at the moment

You have a dead cylinder.
What I figured.. Any chance it could just be a bad ignition coil? Anyone in Eugene know where I can take it?

See what cylinder is misfiring(check spark plugs), then switch a good coilpack to that cylinder. After that recheck the plugs for the switched coilpacks.

will do that tomorrow
i pulled my spark plug cover off to find you also need a 10mm and i didn't have one handy
