Default I need your advice!

So I put the top down on the way home last night and when I went to put it up my passenger window wouldn't roll back up! So I took the car up to Classic Honda and they said it would be $480 for a new motor plus install!

While I was there I also had them look at the latch on drivers side that has been popping out of place when I go over bumps. They wanted $200+ to fix that!

Am I getting ripped off? Is there anywhere around here I can get it done for less money? Thanks for all your help and for being such a great community!

Before you pay...make sure you didn't accidentally hit the button on the drivers arm rest that turns the passenger window off. It is easy to hit without realizing it.

Happened to me the first time, after I'd only had my car a month but I didn't take it to Honda so the shop didn't discover it until the door was all the way off.

This time I've tried every combination of button and key position just to get the window to go up, but no luck.

Do y'all think that's a fair price? Would I be better off buying the parts online and then having them install them? Is there somewhere you guys know of that could do it for cheaper?

Thanks for all the responses!

I would also make sure it isn't the switch before I paid to replace the window regulator. I just haven't heard of that many regulators going out on our cars.
