Yes-'change' isn't an acceptable answer. What is he going to change? Does it even need to be changed? What if it becomes worse?
I think that fact that a sizeable number of voters are so in favor of change answers yuor question--"Does it even need to be changed?"--in the affirmative. Changing the course of the country is a valid pursuit of policy.

I speak for myself when i say that my vote (whether or not its contested cuz its hanging off the ballot)will be my representation for that much needed 360.
please dont beat on me for my opinion.. i did serve my country and i have voted democrat and republican for presidential elections so i do look at a candidate individually, not on political affiliations.(not saying anyone does)
peace and love to all..

Dave.... Dave... Dave.
Are you REALLY asking these questions?
The most important thing he will change is that Bush won't be in the White House.
Does this need to be changed?
Well, I believe his approval rating is hovering BELOW 20%. So, I'd say that the majority of people agree that we need a change.
What if it becomes worse?
Can it get any worse? Buch single-handedly took an event (9-11) and managed to take something that had rallied the rest of the world behind us, and caused us to become isolated from the rest of the world.
He then used it to scare up votes to win the '04 election.
He has taken away numerous freedoms and constitutional rights in the name of "preventing teeeerrrrrerrrrism".
This country needs an image makeover. Barack Obama is the Answer. Stop fighting it, man.

** WARNING!! CONSPIRACY THEORY ALERT!! **
Does anyone else find it a little interesting that when Bush became president gas was like $1.50 a gallon, and that as he (thank God) is about to leave gas will be around $5.00 a gallon?
Do you think that the people (big oil) that put him in and kept him in power are upset at all by these developments?

Support for McCain is de facto support for Bush's policies.

We definitely needed to do SOMETHING after the attack on sept 11. Maybe Bush was the perfect man for that job at the time, I dont know. But PLEASE dont tell us that you dont see theres a need for change.
i am not saying obama is that person cuz clinton may well be or mccain
By the way, the only reason I was using the whole Canadian dollar example when referring to the horrible depreciation of our dollar is because I remember when i was in the Navy in the mid 90's our dollar was about 1.5 times more valuable than their dollar and thats no where the case nowadays. I also find it embarrassing that we have to ration ANYTHING in this country *national anthem playing* and we are not championing a health care system for all our people when they sure as hell take enough money out of us come tax time and let me not even touch on social security.
i say don't vote for anyone. Let's stop depending on people who are well known for their interest in aquiring the position and then taking advantage of it for their own personal interests (try naming anyone who hasn't ... and if you do that just means they were never caught)
ok ... i'm done
I'll just let delloit roll his eyes at me again

Wow, what have I started here!
I didn't know we had such a vocal group of Bush hater's here!
Anyway be careful what you wish for... Most of europe has a health plan that takes care of everyone and at no cost... unless of course you don't mind paying 50% income tax...
