The previous owner of my car, blew up the rear diff and had to replace it before I bought mine; no problems so far. I would at least do the PuddyMod diff over the stock rebuild.
Dud I didn't read that yours is an Ap2 before I posted, Oh Well.

Just finished installing my rebuilt differential after running into a couple problems finally got it out and new one in it wasn't very easy to maneuver having a lift would have been 10 times easier but sure enough finished the job and most importantly no whining noise =) !!
