Unhappy A Dumb and Dumber Story

Today was a good day to drive the S2000. Had to shop for some work appropriate clothes too. Enjoying the car and after a good VTEC, I start to hear a periodic rubbing sound, then a slight shuddering. WTF. Pull into a parking lot outside a Subway. Check my freshly swapped wheels from the Adirondack run. Hey my right rear rim has a gap to the hub! My god almost all my lug nuts are loose! For sure I torque wrenched my wheels ... I am getting old, but I'm still lucky!

Damn, don't carry a spare so also don't carry the jack and lug wrench. Okay, I'll look like a moron and ask someone to borrow their jack and lug wrench. Found a car with some people in the parking lot. Knock, knock. There are 4 kids in the car, but the driver is hesitant to talk to me. I wave, I want to ask you something. Door opens ... okay he thought I was going to bust them, since that distinct rock concert smoke is wafting out of the car. With the relieved look he gladly lends me the tools out of the trunk. After I finish up on the wheels, the 4 guys head to the Subway ... must be the munchies.

Well you can decide who is the dumb and who is dumber.

Nah, don't need the tools, just the tow hook. Don't plan on not tightening my lug nuts again.

Since the kid was nice enough to help me out, I kept my snide comments to myself. Was going to say something like, "You know if you're going to smoke up, it's probably not smart to do it in Mom's car. It's not like they don't know what that smell is... how do you think you were conceived?"

Sadly the autocross season is over. But I was hear to certain Lotus owner that you were pretty fast in Barrie. Not as fast as him though

Hell, if you are competitive with Lawrence, you're pretty far along. He would get the occasional FTD in Ottawa.

...he got me by 0.04 seconds!!! I could have been second if I went for a pee before my last run!

Lawrence, I and the person that ended up with FTD were swapping positions all day long.

FTD = 54.63
Lawrence = 54.92
Me = 54.96

ing about autox season being over...car is already in storage mode.....
