Yep traction loss happens quicker and easier in the wet, certainly good practice with car control, and at lower safer speeds, not that you get going real fast at pgp anyway in comparison to normal big courses.

luder have you considered taking your S out there and see what time you get in comparison to your Miata?

actually i am not luder. that is my brother. he lets me on from time to time. i don't have an s2k. i can't afford one right now. when i get done with school i should have more money to save and will eventually get into an s2k. for now my miata is my budget s2k.

luder, my brother lives in socal. he has an s2k and sti. he comes up several times a year. next time he comes, i'll see if we can come out. otherwise, i hope to be going to more lapping days. the only problem is that i work full time, and go to school full time. this was only my third day since the beginning of the year that i have had little enough school work/work that i have been able to dedicate a whole day to me.

^^^ Gotcha. Yeah the logistics of getting out to do these events are a struggle for me as well. Be fun if I could do as often as some of these guys seem to. I only made it out there once last year so far for two sessions. I did run the karts out there once before which was fun with all of us.

And hey just a tip... if you talk big on this forum and ruffle a few feathers (like I have been known to do once in a wile lol) but can back it up! You will get your sessions paid for you by the guys dumb enough to doubt you We are a good bunch

oh and can anyone tell me what a competitive time would be in buth the wet and dry.

the guy said that the record was ~1:11. which belongs to a silver s2k, would that be you junky, with your rediculously amazing 295's?
The record is actually a 1:10.x set by the user Gearhead.

The S2000 clan is normally at PGP en force, including karting events. Usually on the podium as well. Sadly, I missed last night's Wednesday Warriors with injuries from the last few weeks of kart racing.

Nevermind that minor detail where you are fifth fastest in an S2000.
If you want to get detailed lol. I believe you’re mistaken (unless something has changed recently that I’m not aware of) I'm not on R comps remember, 2nd fastest on street tires

1:13x is the fastest street tire time with an S2000. Jerry you disappoint me. I figured you of all people would be keeping up with the current statistics in the club a bit better.

I I'm still under 400whp

Going to get dyno'ed with the group in mid June. If you care, I'll post my numbers and we'll see where I’m at. Gearhead might be making more then me at this point I don't know. I’m curious to see what i'm making.

It's always funny how in the Forced Induction threads people are falling all over themselves congratulating each other on how their uber-mods have made their cars so much better/faster than stock then all of a sudden in a timed event, it's a minor detail not even worth mention ...... funny!
