I had a blast, but at the end of the day i dropped second gear. it went out on me while drifting around the last bank right b4 the chicane to the pits..... the car was set up with 377whp and 277wtq at 14.5psi....... it wasn't because of a miss shift..... most of you know at this track,... u basically stay in second gear the whole time except for the 2 straight's where you can get into third. wich is the big straight and the back straight after the 3rd apex. my tranny had 100k and about 5+ years of me beating on my gear's like it owe's me money + daily driven like that lol.... bout time it had 2 go.

any1 have a spare tranny sitting around????? ap1 or ap2???.... or know of an upgrade that wont cost me an arm and a leg to be reliable???

I've seen an ap2 tranny on criagslist for sale. Junky should know some good contacts as he has replaced major components on his car.

Full Blown has a Supra tranny conversion; the conversion kit alone costs $1k, then expect to pay an arm or leg for the supra transmission.

I'd just throw an AP2 in there since it sounds like the stock tranny lasted you a while.

I don't think they allow passing? Unless some rules changed

If a driver gets closer to you, pull off, drive back up to the start and they'll let you back in when the lap is clear.

Should still be the same deal. They will try and pair you with a group of cars that is at a similar lap time so your not rubbing elbows. If you do get climbed up on its like Mike said, they will signal for you to pull off at the designated spot and let them by.

Looking forward to getting out there gain this year. Missed all last season so I'm chomping at the bit for some fast track weather. Just need to quit blowing shit up long enough to put my money into actually having fun with the car. HP can get expensive, right redap?! lol

You'll be fine... There's lots of slow cars out there.
